What is BOTOX Cosmetic?

BOTOX Cosmetic is a purified protein that is administered to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles from overactive facial muscles on your forehead, crow’s feet and between your brows.

What can be expected at a BOTOX Cosmetic treatment?

In your initial complimentary consultation, the doctor will ask you to make facial expressions that will determine where the BOTOX will be administered. Tiny injections of BOTOX are administered at the sites of wrinkle formation that will cause the muscles to relax. The result is younger vibrant looking skin.

Who is a candidate for BOTOX® Cosmetic?

Men and women between the ages of 18 – 65 are usually a good candidate for BOTOX.

When do you see results?

Results can take 2-7 days to take effect.

How long does BOTOX last?

Visible results usually last 3-4 months. Follow-up treatments around 3-6 months are recommended.

Are there limitations after treatment?

We recommend not laying down or exercising for 2-3 hours after treatment. Facial exercises are recommended for 1 hour following treatment.

What are the side effects of BOTOX Cosmetic?
